AP University College Students in Construction Site Organisation Visit Hotel Marnix (Brussels)

On Monday 06/02/2023, the second trimester kicked off for first-year students in the Associate Degree of Site Organisation.

To launch the lessons for the course Construction Site Organisation, a site visit to Hotel Marnix in Brussels was scheduled right away.

This impressive site, located directly opposite the Royal Palace and carried out by Group Monument, immediately illustrated the complexity of organising a construction site.

There’s no better way to discover all aspects of site coordination.

Under the expert guidance of Head Site Manager Tom Verplancke, the students received an in-depth explanation in the site office, supported by matching visuals.
Afterwards, the site was visited, with special attention given to site layout, daily operations, and the handling of materials and activities.

A great hands-on start to later discuss these aspects in more detail during the upcoming lessons.
