Final-Year Restoration Construction Students at Work on a Group Monument Site

Interest in construction-related education has been declining in recent years. By collaborating with technical schools, we aim to make construction training more attractive again.

This week, a unique collaboration is taking place between VTI Bruges and Group Monument. Final-year students in the “Restoration Construction” program are getting the chance to work on the renovation of the brick floor in the passage of the Belfry in Bruges — under the watchful eye of our experienced craftsmen.

It’s a great opportunity for both parties and marks the beginning of a long-term partnership. In this way, we hope to prepare these graduating students for a future in the world of restoration.
