PARIS | Since spring 2021, Group Monument has been working, in collaboration with SAS Dubocq (FR), on the restoration of the Hôtel des Invalides in Paris. The building, originally founded by Louis XIV, was initially a care home for war veterans and has served as a military museum since 1905.
In addition to restoring the marble floors in the dome — where Napoleon Bonaparte is buried — the main focus is on the natural stone façades. Today, Minister Matthias Diependaele paid a visit to our impressive Parisian chantier. The project is expected to be completed in 2028.
