AI Specialist
About the job
Group Monument aims to implement artificial intelligence in a structured, secure, and targeted way to support and optimize business processes. AI is seen as a strategic tool, with strong attention to governance, quality, security, and employee adoption.
As an AI Specialist, you will actively contribute to this ambition.
Your role:
You identify and analyze operational and support processes (administration, quality, execution, IT, HR, finance, …). You translate these opportunities into concrete use cases and build a clear AI roadmap based on business value, feasibility, and risk.
The design, configuration, and implementation of AI solutions are at the core of your role. This includes applications such as generative AI, copilots, chatbots, document analysis, AI-driven workflow automation, and reporting. You ensure a well-thought-out technical and functional implementation by developing targeted prompts, decision logic, and workflows.
You develop proofs of concept, pilots, and tests, and ensure they are effectively and stably brought into production. You document technical choices, architecture, and configurations.
Integration within the existing IT environment happens in close collaboration with IT, with attention to security, data availability, and performance. At the same time, you focus on governance and quality: you help define guidelines for responsible AI use and ensure that applications fit within existing processes and audit requirements.
You actively promote AI awareness and contribute to increasing AI maturity within Group Monument. You translate ambitions and needs into a training plan and ensure its effective execution. You support and guide employees in the safe, correct, and responsible use of AI applications. By gathering feedback and monitoring performance, you continuously improve the solutions.
Your profile
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
You have proven experience in setting up and implementing AI solutions.
You have a solid knowledge of:µ
Generative AI and LLM concepts;
Data models and data sources;
Automation and integrations (e.g. low-code / workflow platforms, APIs).
You have experience with Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, or enterprise applications.
You understand AI risks, GDPR, information security, and responsible AI use.
You have knowledge of or affinity with the EU AI Act and AI governance.
You have strong analytical and process-oriented thinking skills.
You are a strong communicator: you can clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
You work independently, critically, and with a strong sense of responsibility. You value integrity and discretion.
The position is based in the Zottegem office, with close collaboration with IT.
