About the job
At Monument Group, within the carpentry division, we produce, restore, and install exterior and interior joinery as well as roof timberwork in solid wood. The focus is on the craftsmanship of restoration joinery, combined with a modern and innovative machinery setup.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Site Manager for Carpentry.
Your role:
As a site manager for carpentry, you will work on some of the most unique sites across the country. You will encounter the fascinating world of roof structures, paneling, facade cladding, monumental gates, doors, and innovations related to joinery, all created using traditional models while meeting modern criteria.
After your introduction period, you will take full responsibility for the operational follow-up of the sites in your field of expertise.
As a representative of Monument Group, you will consistently strive for innovation, with particular attention to wood as a natural product, the craftsmanship in the restoration sector, and the optimization between artisanal techniques and technical developments.
Your profile
We are looking for a site manager with a technical higher education degree in construction or the wood sector, who fully believes in the constructive collaboration between joinery and modern technology.
A few years of relevant experience are a plus but not required. Knowledge of solid wood joinery is a must.
You are a team player with a pleasant demeanor and strong communication skills.
You are Dutch-speaking but can also communicate in French.
Flexibility, perseverance, and strong organizational and coordination skills are highly valued.
