Carpenter – Historic Roof Structures

About the job

• You are responsible for the restoration of historic roof structures, following the original design.

• You repair or replace wooden beams and trusses and reinforce the roof structure where necessary.

• Additionally, you assist your colleagues with the dismantling and installation of historic windows, doors, gates, and similar elements.

Your profile

• You have completed training in woodworking or have a strong interest in it. Above all, you have a passion for wood.

• You have several years of experience working on wooden roof structures.

• You are skilled in working with solid wood.

• You are able to work accurately in a team, with attention to detail while respecting deadlines.

• You are fluent in Dutch.

• You live in the wider Ghent region.
