Carpenter – Historic Roof Structures
About the job
You are responsible for the restoration of historic roof structures, following the original design.
You repair or replace wooden beams and trusses and reinforce the roof structure where necessary.
Additionally, you assist your colleagues with the dismantling and installation of historic windows, doors, gates, and similar elements.
Your profile
You have completed training in woodworking or have a strong interest in it. Above all, you have a passion for wood.
You have several years of experience working on wooden roof structures.
You are skilled in working with solid wood.
You are able to work accurately in a team, with attention to detail while respecting deadlines.
You are fluent in Dutch.
You live in the wider Ghent region.
