Accountant

To strengthen our financial team, we are looking for an enthusiastic accountant at Group Monument who will handle the financial management of a company.

As an accountant, you will be responsible for the financial process from A to Y.

What you can expect:

• You process purchase and sales invoices.

• You closely follow up outstanding clients and suppliers, as well as guarantees from clients and subcontractors.

• You prepare supplier payments.

• You ensure the correct booking of payroll data and payments to the company and social security.

• You are responsible for preparing the VAT return and various statistics.

• You assist with budgeting and support external audits.

• You work closely with the financial manager, to whom you report directly.

• You hold a bachelor's degree in a financial field. Some (initial) experience is a plus but not required.

• You think analytically and enjoy finding solutions.

• You take responsibility and approach tasks proactively.

• You are a team player who can also work independently.

• An interest in IT and digital tools is a bonus.

• You work from our office in Brasschaat or Ingelmunster.
